The ACS & Your Community by the Numbers

The Census Bureau is continuing its webinar series with the basics of the American Community Survey (ACS) . This webinar series will guide users in the two-fold manner: PART 1  consists of the basics of the American Community Survey (ACS); PART 2 will guide users through various easy-to-use data tools to retrieve data on your community.

Data from the ACS provides statistics on more than 40 social, economic and housing topics for U.S. communities nationwide. By pooling multiple years of data, the ACS is able to produce a rolling sample of estimates for cities, towns, counties and other geographies, regardless of their population size.
