Methodology Updates for the Vintage 2024 Estimates

The Population Estimates Program (PEP) develops the official estimates of population and housing units for the Census Bureau. Every year, PEP builds a time series of estimates that starts at the date of the most recent decennial census and extends through the vintage year, which represents the latest year of estimates available.
